    He had graduated medical school at Diyarbakir University.  Professor Vedat Goral is currently working at the Department of Gastroenterology, at Istanbul Medipol University School of Medicine. Previous to this, he was working at the Dicle University from 1987 to 2012 and Izmir Medicalpark Hospital from 2012 till 2017. His specific teaching and research interests are in the areas of Gastroenterology (endoscopy, gastrointestinal diseases, liver diseases, inflammatory bowel diseases and ERCP).
