Research Interest: Have expertise in the field of Endocrine Physiology and Metabolism, more specifically working with metabolic programming in critical stages of life development and its consequences on the body weight composition and pancreatic islets function. Actually, the field of studies is undernutrition in early life and the development of obesity and type 2 diabetes later in life.

Research Interest: The novel functions of calcineurin B subunit (CnB) in the activation of innate immunity and in cancer treatment. We have identified the integrin αM as a new receptor of CnB on macrophage and revealed how this receptor mediates CnB-triggered anti-tumor activity. We also showed that CnB protein can synergize with inteferon-γ to skew tumor-associated macrophages (TAMs) to an anti-tumor phenotype (M1 phenotype) and to enhance inteferon-γ- mediated tumoricidal activity. So far, I mainly focus on the molecular mechanisms of necroptosis (a new form of programmed cell death). We are trying to reveal new modulators in the regulation of necroptotic pathway, and to reveal the roles and mechanisms of necroptosis in tumorgenisis and metastasis

In 2009, graduated from Tianjin Medical University with a Ph.D. in immunology. In the same year, began to work in the Institute of Ophthalmology of Tianjin Medical University, where worked as a basic researcher. In 2012, went to Germany for a one-year postdoctoral research. Up to now, has undertaken and completed three national and provincial-level projects, and published a total of 66 research papers.

Research Interest: Research has been focused on the understanding of the mechanisms of the development of Peeclampsia, the most common cause of retarded fetal development.

Research Interest: Angiotensin II effects on renal dopamine metabolism using in vitro models and different techniques like pharmacological approaches, kinetic studies, enzymatic activities and radiolabel markers. For my postdoctoral work, I expanded my research area and studied the relationship between atrial natriuretic peptide and renal dopamine system and its impact on sodium handling. For this purpose we employed an in vivo model to evaluate this interaction on urinary parameters and used molecular techniques to demonstrate the involvement of different tubular transports
