    Aims and Scope

    Peertechz's Open Journal of Trauma encompasses all aspects of the epidemiology, etiology, pathophysiology, diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation and prevention of acute illnesses and trauma, resuscitation and emergency medicine, with particular interest in the multidisciplinary aspects of the chain of survival. Open Journal of Trauma seeks to publish manuscripts focusing on education, training, implementation, as well as ethical and socio-economic aspects of trauma management.

    Open Journal of Trauma provides an excellent opportunity for authors, scientists, doctors and individuals in Trauma studies to understand the nature of psychological trauma. Disorders that have a strong relationship to stress, trauma and loss, such as posttraumatic stress disorder, acute stress disorder, grief, anxiety, and depression are important focus areas of Open Journal of Trauma.

    The main aim of Open Journal of Trauma is to advance the discovery and impact for stress, trauma, and resilience. The Open Journal of Trauma strive to accomplish this aim through publishing manuscripts promoting awareness of the impact and consequences of trauma in all patient populations, expand trauma screening in clinical care settings and expanding international use of Trauma Systems Therapy.

    In addition, Open Journal of Trauma oversees, develops, and provides an urge to develop a model of care for traumatized children addressing both the individual child's emotional needs as well as their social environment.
