Research Interest: My
Research Interests Span Many Areas Including Bioinformatics and Metabolomics. As
a Phd Student at Center of Magnetic Resonance of University of Florence (Italy),
My Research Focused on the Metabolomic Analysis of Biofluid (E.G., Urine,
Serum, Saliva) and Tissue (E.G., Intact Human Liver) Samples. I Used Nuclear
Magnetic Resonance (NMR) Spectroscopy and Advanced Statistical Analysis
Techniques to Identify and Predict Metabolomic Fingerprints. In Particular, I Used
NMR-Based Metabolomic Analysis to Identify a Fingerprint of Poor-Survival in the
Serum of Patient with Metastatic Colorectal Cancer.
Now as Postdoc at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, My Current Research Focuses on
Identifying Metabolic Fingerprint Predictors of Prostate Cancer Development and
Progression to Improve our Understanding of The Mechanisms Linking Metabolism with
the Biology of Prostate Cancer. Moreover, I Will Contribute on Developing of
New Standard Operation Procedures for Metabolomic Analysis in Formalin Fixed
Paraffin Embedded Tissues.
